Felipe Ascacibar

Born in Buenos Aires and raised between Miami and the Black Forrest – is a versatile director with a keen eye on characters, timing and humour. He gained early acting and directing experience in various theater groups, and started his career in the industry as a photography & production assistant. After an obligatory year at the German navy (which taught him how ridiculous serious can be) he studied design at Elisava Barcelona and the University of Arts in Berlin and meanwhile worked as an award-winning editor for over a decade until he successfully jumped to directing himself as doitys very first director in the roaster in 2010. He is based between Berlin and Spain.
