There is always something mysterious about Espens Eichhöfer’s pictures. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that he was born into an enchanted Nordic mountain landscape, in 1966 in Nesbyen, Norway.

Major reportages, for example for Stern, Spiegel or Zeit Magazin, take him around the world, from Cuba to Abu Dhabi to the Philippines, but also repeatedly to Africa and Scandinavia. His works are shown in solo and group exhibitions, for example in the National Library Oslo, the C/O Berlin or the Spielhaus Morrison Galerie. He lives and works in Berlin.
